American Horse Products was launched in 1999. With our 11,000 square foot  store in San Juan Capistrano, American Horse Products offers the largest inventory of English and Western products, along with feed, in Orange County, California.

The San Juan experience and all the horse activity led us to appreciate what San Juan meant  to the horse community and why American Horse Products needed to be part of the fabric of San Juan. So, Diane and I signed up for the local Chamber of Commerce as well as Friends of the Library and ultimately became Board Members of both. You might even find us sponsoring a Fiesta Association, El Presidente ball or the equestrian community website at sanjuanhorses.info.

Our mantra is to “add excitement to the horse world” whether it’s a new supplement like turkey tail for your horse’s immune system, an upcoming Grand Prix at the Riding Park, or just a new trail to explore, such as the San Juan Creek trail. We have even installed a corral at the San Juan Hills Golf Course.
